  • Ms Liu is a highly experienced consultant in TCM with strong medical research background. Awarded the K.C.Wong postdoctoral fellowship from the Royal Society, she moved from China to London in 1991, since then, she had been working as a medical research fellow in Imperial Cancer Research Fund, then, Imperial College School of Medicine, as well as a part time TCM practitioner till 2004. She then runs her own TCM surgery, Dr.TCM, in London.

    Ms Liu is a fellow member since 2006 and member of Research Committee of The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture UK (ATCM). She is a council member of British Institute of Scalp Acupuncture. She was a council member of British Society of Chinese Medicine, a Director of The Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine, the Affiliated Teaching and Training Centre of TCM for Middlesex University.

    She is the first TCM practitioner who’s invited to join the WestFocus Health Network, the collaborative partnership between seven universities working with local businesses and community groups across South and West London, and Thames Valley. She is also, as one of the two TCM practitioners, involved in the Heritage2Health (H2H) Project developed by Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences, Kingston University and St George’s University of London since 2007. She was also invited to give seminars to introduce TCM to the students in physiotherapy in St George’s Medical School, as well as for local communities.

    Her main areas of interest are pain relief, allergic problems, cancer support, diabetes, infertility, hypertension, mental disorders, stop smoking, stroke & rehabilitation, weight loss, urinary, menstrual and digestive disorders, and many more.
