  Dr. Yang trained as a medical doctor in China and subsequently earned an MSc and PhD in medical research in the UK. This dual expertise in clinical practice and scientific research has proven invaluable in her approach to patient care.
  With over 40 years of active practice in acupuncture, she skilfully combines academic activities—including research and teaching—with extensive clinical work. She has successfully treated a wide range of health conditions, such as:
  • Musculoskeletal issues: stiff neck, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, back pain, knee pain, sciatica, groin pain, and arthritis.
  • Chronic pain & neurological conditions: fibromyalgia, headaches, migraines, chronic pain syndrome, and Bell's palsy.
  • Systemic & emotional health concerns: chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), anxiety, depression, insomnia, tinnitus, and menopause.
  Her research interests are in immunology, transplantation immunology, and autoimmune diseases. Dr. Yang is a member of the British Society for Immunology.
